Welcome to Thierbach Orchard's Market Thierbach's Market is the place to go for our fresh fruit and garden produce plus jams, salsas and other goodies. It is located at 18427 State Hwy 47, which is four miles north of Marthasville on Hwy 47, The Market is open seven days a week from the beginning of July to early November. Our hours are 9-6 Monday through Saturday and 11-6 Sunday. The phone number at the Market is 636-433-2757. Thierbach's Market is where you will find all the fresh fruit and produce that we grow. In July and August we have our tree ripened peaches plus tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, and other garden vegetables. In September and October we have a wide variety of fresh apples, plus winter squash and pumpkins. You can also find a selection of fall decorations and mums. All season long we offer a wide selection of jams, jellies, pickles and salsas. Another popular item is our home made baking mixes that help you make cobblers, cakes, and muffins in a flash. You’ll also find Rada Cutlery and a nice selection of baskets and enamel ware. A very popular aspect of our Market is the friendly critters that live there. Our petting zoo is home to Penny the donkey, Petunia the pot-bellied pig, a herd of miniature goats, fancy pigeons and some very friendly chickens. There is no charge for visiting the animals! In the fall we add a straw tunnel for kids to enjoy. This keeps little ones entertained before they pick apples or while other family members are shopping in the Market. A very popular fall activity is to pick apples as a family. Our apple orchard is conveniently located across the road from the Market. Park your car at the Market and then hop on a hayride that will take your entire group to the orchard to pick apples. We offer pick your own apples on Saturdays and Sundays in September and early October. Be sure to check the What’s Ripe section of the site for more picking information. Reservations are not required for the hayride, and there is no additional charge. After you pick your apples, feel free to sit in our patio area and enjoy some fresh apple cider while the kids enjoy the animals and straw tunnel. If you are interested in bringing a group to pick apples during the week, please look at the Field Trip section of this site or feel free to give us a call. We have had groups from schools, preschools, day cares, home school groups, and even family get together schedule field trips in the past. | Return Home | What's Ripe? | Our Fruit | Apple Junction | Our Orchards | Contact Us | How to Find Us | Field Trips | |
